2022 – Exciting new collection of artistic framed prints

Framed artistic print of Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy. By Photographer Scott Allen Wilson.

It’s 2022 Already?!

In this update I talk about my latest collection of art for sale. Let’s get to it!

Hi there! I’m excited to announce a completely new collection of art that I’m offering for sale. Starting in 2022 (now, in fact!) I’m offering completed art pieces with solid wood frames and a passe-partout. Starting with printed artistic photographs of Italy, I currently have collections including artistic prints of Florence, Naples, and Venice, but plan to create and post more products and cities soon.

In previous years I’ve sold prints by themselves, which someone would then need to have professionally matted and framed. This worked for a while, and I was able to sell my work, as well as donate over $400 to charity in the process (how awesome is that?). What I discovered throughout this process though, is that what people want is to buy a piece of completed work, and not also have to matte and frame the print they purchased.

If you’re enjoying this post, and ever find yourself shopping on Amazon, below I’ve included my affiliate link. If you use this link to purchase items on Amazon I will get a small commission. It’s basically another way to support artists like me. If you love what I’m up to, please use this link when purchasing anything on Amazon – it doesn’t cost you anything extra 🙂

It may seem a bit biased, but I have to say the quality of my work is very high, even when someone only considers the print and paper quality alone. Being said, a few people that purchased my prints and were completely shocked by how expensive matting and framing can be, which was an additional cost they didn’t foresee. For those of you that aren’t aware- matting and framing are artistic professions in themselves, and if you’re investing in a piece of art – you want to do it right by hiring professionals who know which matte and frame to use for the photograph you’re using, along with the correct glass to ensure your artwork is properly protected. This whole process can unfortunately be a lot of work for someone wanting to purchase art from me, and can also make it difficult to buy gifts for other people from my store, etc.

The point is that not everyone has the time or desire to go through this process – and what the majority of people want is to be able to buy a piece of art they love, and when it arrives to their house- it’s ready to be placed where they want it to be for all to see and appreciate, without having to do any extra work. Creating and selling finished pieces also means that what you buy, and receive are completely designed and created by me from start to finish. Starting with the image, the size of the print, the size and color of the passe-partout, and finally the size and color of the solid wood frame as well.

This is the big change that I’ve made, and I’m so, SO excited about it. The final pieces look so great, the materials used and the craftsmanship is just amazing. I work with one of the best photography labs in the world to create these customized pieces of art that I’ve designed myself, and they’re all ready to be purchased by people like you that love what I do, the images that I capture, and hopefully now also the beautiful pieces of art that I’m continuing to create.

Thank you for your support, and for being a part of my story 🙂

If you love what I’m up to, please purchase one of my pieces of art, or buy one for someone you love. If you see a print you love, but are looking for a different size, frame, or passe-partout – please write to me and ask me for a custom request! I’d be happy to work with you and I’ll do what I can do fulfill it

For everyone else, please, please connect with me online. Write reviews for me on Google, Facebook and on products in my store that you’ve purchased. All these things can help people around the world find me and my art for sale. Follow me and write to me on social media, send me feedback you think I need to hear, or even just say hi!
