Captured from beneath, the Porta Soprana is the main character of this shot, with its white stone bricks and battlements the tower, ancient entrance to the city of Genova, stands tall and proud. The great cylinder is surrounded by the evergreen leaves of some olive trees, offering a sense of immortality to the historical atmosphere. The print has been realized on glossy Fuji Crystal Archive paper, mounted beneath acrylic glass and surrounded by a beautiful white solid wood frame. Every element of this piece was individually selected with intention as being a part of a unified piece of art.
