Sky Light
The tall brick structure of Palazzo Pubblico rises to the sky that covers Piazza del Campo, one of Siena’s richest cultural spaces that holds the most important events of the year. The geometrical composition of this shot can adorn any modern space with a traditional Italian building. This artistic photograph was taken by Photographer and Digital Artist, Scott Allen Wilson, in Siena, Italy. It has been realized on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper and mounted with an anthracite passe-partout. The mounted print is displayed underneath a matte float glass and surrounded by a beautiful ebony solid wood frame. Every element of this piece was individually selected with the intention of being a part of a unified piece of art.
I think this print perfectly encapsulates the essence and the energy of Siena, Italy. I hope you love it 🙂

Thoughts and Ponderings about Sky Light
The Palazzo Pubblico, also known as the Town Hall, is a historical building located in the center of Siena, Italy. It was built in the 13th century and served as the seat of the government of the Republic of Siena. One of its most notable features is its tall tower, called the Torre del Mangia, which offers panoramic views of the city. Looking up to the sky on the inside of the Palazzo Pubblico on a sunny day, the sky above Siena is a brilliant shade of blue, making for a stunning contrast against the building’s warm, honey-colored stone.
