A beautiful landscape of Venice captured by Photographer and Digital Artist, Scott Allen Wilson. The water, the city, and the sky join to create perfect balance, and the smooth white background allows us to appreciate the textures in the city and in the lagoon. The photo starts by showing the Church of the Santissimo Redentore, located on the island of Giudecca in the Venetian Lagoon. The dark blue shades of the body of water reflect on the church to combine with its shadows, and contrast with the bright terracotta shades of the rest of the island’s architecture. This mixture of warm and cool colors could easily decorate any space. This print has been realized on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, and mounted with a natural white passe-partout. It is displayed underneath a matte float glass, and surrounded by a beautiful ebony solid wood frame. What a dazzling way to display Venice from the outside!
