Bridge of Cultures
This photo captures the first dry crossing in Venice, Italy- the Ponte di Rialto. Showing a portion of the oldest Venetian bridge, people from all over the world are crossing over the grand canal, and dividing the image in two parts. Its white architecture contrasts with the colors of the city, and it’s guarded by renaissance arches that make this structure so majestic. Photographer and Digital Artist, Scott Allen Wilson, not only shows the beauty of Venetian architecture, but its importance as a city that brings so many cultures together. The print has been realized on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper, and mounted with a natural white passe-partout. It is displayed underneath a matte float glass, and surrounded by a beautiful ebony solid wood frame. The Bridge of Cultures can easily transport us to the heart of the city while adorning and brightening any environment.
This print is a great way to show the movement and life of Venice, Italy. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂

Thoughts and Ponderings about Bridge of Cultures
Scenes that once brought frustration, anxiety, feelings of claustrophobia, or even anger. Famous sites like the Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy filled with human beings from various countries around the world. In a world in the midst of a pandemic, photos like this might make some feel uncomfortable, others might see this and feel a sense of longing for the days when we could be in close-proximity to others without feeling a sense of panic, or perhaps a glimpse into the memories of a world we may not see for some time, or maybe never again. I hope that regardless of what you see, that you will be inspired to feel.
