Dov’era e Com’era

The bell tower in Saint Mark’s Square, in Venice, Italy is captured by Photographer Scott Allen Wilson right in the middle of the image. He honors its reconstruction in 1903 after the campanile suddenly collapsed in front of hundreds of people. “Dov’era e Com’era” were the known words of the mayor Filippo Grimani, which means “Where it was and how it was”. This artistic print has been realized on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper and mounted with a natural white passe-partout. The mounted print is displayed underneath a matte float glass, and surrounded by a beautiful white solid wood frame. The color of the campanille combine beautifully with wooden decorations!

Once again we can appreciate the beauty and hard work in the architecture of Venice, Italy. I hope you love it 🙂
